Call for Submissions
New this year, we’ve added a half-day to the conference! Pre-conference workshops will be held Wednesday morning, October 16, with the conference officially starting at 1:30pm and running until 12:00pm Friday, October 18.
Please join us in making AHSR 2024 a showcase for vibrant, innovative research that can have a strong impact on creating equitable access to effective addiction services.
We are accepting abstracts for individual presentations and symposium sessions.
- Individual presentations (oral or poster) feature results from a single study.
- Accepted individual presentations will be grouped together (3-4 abstracts) by topic into a 75-minute session.
- Symposium sessions are comprised of three or four presentations with a common theme.
- Symposium sessions will be 75 minutes in length.
- Abstracts will be considered for individual presentations if the symposium is not selected.
Abstracts must be submitted by the person who intends to present the study in the case of an individual presentation, and by the chair/moderator in the case of a symposium session.
An author may submit a maximum of two abstracts as the presenting author.
All accepted abstracts will be published in a peer-reviewed journal, unless you choose to opt out.
The deadline for all submissions is: Sunday, May 12, 2024 at 11:59 PM PT.
