J. Aaron Johnson, PhD, is Professor and Director of the Institute of Public and Preventive Health and Associate Dean for Research and Community Engagement at Augusta University. He received his doctorate from the University of Georgia. His work is focused on the adoption and implementation of evidence-based practices for substance use prevention and treatment including effective methods for training health professionals to deliver these practices. He has been attending the AHSR conference since the mid-90s before it was even called AHSR.
