Heather Gotham, PhD, Clinical Professor, Center for Dissemination and Implementation, Stanford University School of Medicine, and clinical psychologist, uses implementation science to assist behavioral health and healthcare providers in utilizing evidence-based treatments at national, state, and local levels. Dr. Gotham is PI/Director of the SAMHSA-funded national Center for Mental Health Implementation Support (CMHIS), Co-Director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)-funded Helping End Addiction Long-Term Data2Action (HD2A) Research Adoption Support Center (RASC), and multiple PI on an NIAAA funded hybrid type 1 implementation study of the use of screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment in sexual and reproductive health clinics.
