Adam Gordon, MD, MPH, has a professional mission is to improve access to high‑quality care for vulnerable populations. He is the Elbert F. and Marie Christensen Endowed Research Professor and tenured Professor of Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of Utah School of Medicine, and Section Chief of Addiction Medicine at the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System. A board‑certified internist and addiction medicine physician, he founded and directs PARCKA and serves as PI of the Greater Intermountain Node of the NIH NIDA Clinical Trials Network. He has over 20 years of research experience, is Editor‑in‑Chief of Substance Abuse, has authored 290+ peer‑reviewed manuscripts (H‑index 53), and has received national mentoring recognition.
